Edge conditions for a metal roof deck bearing on a structural steel beam. The assembly accommodates deck overhangs up to twelve inches using either a quarter-inch continuous bent plate or continuous structural steel angles ranging from L3x3x3/8 to L5x3x3/8 depending on the overhang dimension. The metal roof deck can be oriented in either direction across the supporting framing members. Top of steel elevations are sized per plan with specific minimum clearances maintained at the beam flange.
