An 18-inch by 24-inch rectangular concrete column is reinforced with vertical bars sized per schedule. Confinement is provided by perimeter hoops and interior crossties featuring alternating hook orientations spaced typically. A 1 3/4-inch clear cover is maintained to the main reinforcement throughout. All four outside corners include a typical 3/4-inch chamfer.
