A six-inch thick reinforced concrete slab sits atop a four-inch thick structural foam insulation layer, creating an elevated housekeeping pad over a concrete fill and metal floor deck assembly. The pad is tied into the supporting slab using number four dowels spaced at eighteen inches on center, drilled and epoxied with a three-inch embedment. The housekeeping pad concrete is reinforced with number four bars at eighteen inches on center each way.
