Install waterstops at all wall pour joints, footing and wall joints, and slab pour joints to form a continuous barrier against water penetration. Connect the slab joint waterstop with the wall joint installation. Position the waterstop inside of the outermost reinforcing steel within the concrete wall assembly. Reinforcing steel dowels and horizontal bars tie the concrete wall and slab into the continuous concrete footing.
