Wood studs spaced at sixteen inches on center bear on a continuous three-inch pressure-treated sill plate secured with anchor bolts. A half-inch gap is maintained at the base of the wall framing. The concrete grade beam is reinforced with two continuous number five rebars at the top and bottom, along with number three ties spaced at eighteen inches on center with three inches of concrete clearance.
