Embedded piping and conduit within a concrete slab or wall are restricted to a maximum diameter of T divided by 3 or 2 inches, whichever is smaller, centered along the member thickness T. Center-to-center spacing between embedded conduits must be maintained at a minimum of 3 times the diameter D. Penetrating piping and conduit pass directly through the concrete slab or wall perpendicular to the member faces.
