A post-tensioned concrete slab bears on a concrete wall below. The slab features post-tension end anchorages and is isolated from the wall bearing surface by two layers of building felt applied over a trowel-smooth and level finish. A two-and-a-half-inch diameter by six-inch styrofoam sleeve surrounds each slab reinforcing bar, and a two-and-a-half-inch diameter by slab-depth styrofoam sleeve is provided at each wall reinforcing bar. Top reinforcing is doweled into the wall below per structural drawings. Vehicle barrier cables are positioned above the slab edge per architectural plans.
