A connection plate assembly features a one-quarter-inch thick plate connected using two seven-eighth-inch diameter A325-N bolts. The connection incorporates American Institute of Steel Construction standard horizontal short-slotted holes in the connection plate. Fillet welds of one-quarter-inch size are specified at the joint intersections. An angle is provided per plan to complete the framing assembly.
