These structural details show ledger angles attached to supporting steel beams at varying elevations relative to the top of steel. The assembly includes a ledger angle sized per plan welded to the beam web with three-sixteenths inch fillet welds spaced at twelve inches typical. Additional one-quarter inch thick stiffener or gusset plates are provided at forty-eight inches on center for specific vertical clearance conditions where the top flange thickness is less than or equal to one-half inch or dimension 'A' is less than one inch. Steel deck and concrete fill are omitted for clarity. Dimensions indicate maximum and minimum offsets for sloping beams and vertical positioning relative to the top of steel elevation.
