A structural steel beam supports a concrete slab over a profiled metal floor deck with headed shear anchors welded through the deck into the top flange of the beam. A continuous number four mesh support bar runs parallel to the beam within the concrete slab. Steel beams are sized per the structural plans. A bolted framing connection joins the secondary beam framing into the supporting girder or primary steel beam.
