An eccentric stair midlanding support connects to a structural steel beam. A broken back HSS or channel stair stringer frames into a hanging beam provided by the stair supplier. Hanger members and their top and bottom connections tie the stair midlanding and floor beam together at the centerline of the beam section. A web stiffener is provided on the steel beam per general structural notes, and the stair deck is omitted for clarity. Alternate adequate connections proposed by the stair supplier are also acceptable.
