A twelve-inch concrete masonry unit wall corner and end condition features vertical reinforcing bars placed each face and horizontal lap splices equal to sixty-five bar diameters. The corner utilizes open end blocks with broken webs to allow for continuous grout flow around the corner junction. Typical wall reinforcement includes horizontal bars maintained at one-half inch clearance from the block face. Vertical reinforcement is called out as two typical wall verticals each face unless otherwise noted, terminating at the jamb or wall end.
