A steel girder frames into a reinforced concrete wall using a shear plate and slip-critical bolts. The assembly includes a plate measuring 1/2 inch by 21 inches equipped with twelve 3/4-inch diameter welded stud anchors embedded in the concrete. Three #6 A706 reinforcing bars with 180-degree hooks and three #5 bars at 4 feet 0 inches minimum length reinforce the wall pocket. A325-SC bolts secure the girder web to the shear plate through slotted holes where bolts are centered. An angle or channel ledger is provided per plan with 5/16-inch fillet welds.
