Floor sheathing rests across intermediate wood joists and terminates at a four-times width wood flange nailer mounted atop a structural steel beam. The nailer is secured to the steel beam top flange using three-quarter-inch threaded weld studs spaced at one foot six inches on center, countersunk with a maximum one-inch dap. Boundary nailing along the beam consists of a single row of fasteners into the nailer per structural plans. Intermediate wood joists bear on framing sized per plan below the floor sheathing.
