A wide flange gravity column splice connection utilizes outside flange plates and single web plates with filler plates as required. Erection utilizes two seven-eighths inch diameter A325 bolts at the flange plates. Single shim plates are installed to match the flange plate width. Weld sizes are specified per the accompanying schedule based on story height and column size.
