A steel tube stair stringer frames into a structural steel tube beam supporting a concrete over steel deck floor assembly. The end of the stair stringer is capped with a one-quarter-inch thick steel closure plate welded with typical complete joint penetration welds and three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds. Additional steel tube stair stringers are visible beyond in the elevation view.
