A fourteen-gauge single-piece metal edge form supplied by the deck manufacturer supports the perimeter of the composite floor slab running parallel to the supporting wide-flange beam. The composite floor deck bears on the top flange of the wide-flange beam with a maximum overhang of six inches. Three-quarter-inch diameter welded head stud anchors are spaced equally along the beam flange with quantities sized per plan.
