Key Type 1 for typical walls and Key Type 2 for cast-in-place retaining walls and exterior walls below grade feature roughened construction joint surfaces to a quarter-inch amplitude minimum with typical forty-five degree bevel edges. Dowels are spaced twelve inches plus-or-minus on center with vertical distribution to suit reinforcement, featuring depth D for Key Type 1 and depth D over two for Key Type 2.
