New cored holes are positioned within an existing reinforced concrete wall while maintaining specified clearance from existing reinforcing bars. The layout requires a minimum clearance of one and one-half inches from reinforcing bars, a maximum spacing of six inches, and a minimum spacing of two feet. Non-destructive testing is required prior to coring to locate existing reinforcing bars and avoid contact. All cored hole locations require review and approval by the structural engineer prior to execution.
