An HSS column or brace connects above a concrete stem wall utilizing a three-by-four-inch base plate, ten inches long, anchored with four three-quarter-inch ASTM F1554 Grade 36 anchor bolts. A gusset plate connects to the assembly with quarter-inch fillet welds as referenced by the structural details.
