Steel stair construction featuring seven-gauge horizontal stair pans and vertical stair treads fabricated from 36 KSI steel with a maximum length of nine feet. Each tread receives a two-inch concrete fill per architectural specifications. The stair pans connect to typical stringers sized per plan using angle connections measuring one and one-quarter inches by one and one-quarter inches by three-sixteenths of an inch by seven inches long at each end, welded with typical one-eighth-inch fillet welds on three sides. Horizontal legs are coped at wide-flange connections where required.
