A structural post is centered in a cast-in-place concrete caisson footing with a diameter of 1 foot 6 inches and a depth of 4 feet 0 inches below the top of the footing. An 8-inch long number 3 rebar is set horizontally in a predrilled hole through the lower portion of the post as a typical embedment. Finished grade is established per civil drawings adjacent to the top of the footing. Plan dimensions for the post and footing location are sized per plan.
