A concrete floor slab with concrete fill over metal deck bears on a continuous L4x4x5/16 angle anchored to the wall with 3/4-inch diameter by 5-inch headed studs at 24 inches on center. The concrete wall features a corbel to support an exterior masonry veneer, aligned with the veneer and reinforced with two continuous number 4 rebars and number 4 rebars with form-saver couplers at 18 inches on center. A concrete curb sits at the top of the wall aligned with the grid line. Shoring must remain in place until the concrete fill has been placed and attained full design strength. A waterstop is provided at the joint, and a 2-inch nominal non-shrink grout layer is detailed at the slab connection.
