An exterior wall section details the connection of a hollow structural section girt to a structural column via a girt bracket. A continuous plate measuring one-quarter inch by nine inches is secured beneath the girt with three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds spaced at two feet twelve inches on center. The hollow structural section girt is coped as required for bolted connections and receives a support angle for the exterior panel or louver. A concrete masonry unit wall positioned below provides support and interfaces with a structural sub-joint per architectural drawings. The structural column is sized per schedule and aligns with the building grid.
