A threaded rod hanger is suspended through a steel angle spanning a minimum of four low flutes of a metal deck. A Unistrut channel sits on top with a standard washer and nut on the threaded rod. A bent plate 1/4 inch thick and double hex nuts are positioned at the top and bottom of the rod. Two L6x4x5/16 angles are secured with a square washer plate 1-1/4 by 2 inches and a jamb nut snug to the bottom of the angle. Number 12 sheet metal screws secure each low flute typically, with a maximum tension limit of 100 pounds.
