The center shaft connects to an existing 2-inch shaft base plate resting on top of a 3-inch steel plate. Three 1 1/2-inch diameter bolts secure the plates into tapped holes in the lower 3-inch plate. The assembly maintains a minimum 1-inch clearance verified in field, spanning a total width of 2 feet 8 inches.
