Two by six wood studs bear on a three-inch preservative-treated sill plate attached continuously with anchor bolts to a concrete foundation wall. Plywood sheathing fastens to the exterior face of the studs. The foundation wall contains three continuous number five reinforcing bars at the top and bottom with number three ties spaced at eighteen inches on center. An existing concrete slab connects to the foundation stem wall via five-eighths inch diameter drilled holes with number four dowels placed at twenty-four inches on center staggered with epoxy adhesive.
