This structural detail provides a schedule and cross-section for typical concrete spread footings with varying dimensions and reinforcement. Footings are centered on the column above unless noted otherwise and bear on undisturbed or compacted material with a design bearing pressure of 5000 pounds per square foot following the installation of rammed aggregate piers. Reinforcement is provided in both directions, ranging from five number five bars up to eight number nine bars top and bottom depending on the footing mark and thickness.
