This structural assembly features a composite steel girder supporting a profiled metal deck with three-quarter-inch diameter by four-and-a-half-inch welded headed shear studs. Puddle welds are provided at locations where no shear stud is present, spaced at a maximum of eighteen inches on center. Additional studs are added at the ends to meet the required quantity indicated in brackets. The maximum stud spacing along the girder is thirty-six inches, with a sixteen-inch maximum spacing near supports. Measurements are referenced from the centerline of the girder or face of the column.
