An HSS rail support connects to a wide flange beam using L6x4x5/16 structural angles placed on each side of the HSS and welded with typical one-quarter inch fillet welds. A three-quarter inch diameter through-bolt fastens through a long-slotted hole centered at the HSS, allowing for vertical movement or adjustment. The wide flange beam and HSS rail support sizes are determined per plan.
