The assembly consists of either a bent bar anchor with a three-inch standard hook or a headed anchor bolt embedded in concrete. Both types utilize double nuts at the base plate for leveling and securement. The bolt projection above the concrete surface equals the thickness of the bolted material plus the dry pack thickness plus one inch, unless noted otherwise. The headed bolt utilizes a heavy hex nut or heavy hex head at the embedded end. Bolt threads must be staked below the nut to prevent loosening.
