A precast concrete wall panel bears on a continuous concrete footing with two inches of grout beneath the panel base. Vertical reinforcing includes two number five continuous bars at the top and bottom of the stem wall, along with number four bars at twelve inches on center each face and number three ties at eight inches on center. Panel to slab dowels tie the precast panel to the adjacent concrete slab, which features a pour strip with a two-foot lap and three number four continuous bars. A finished grade of asphaltic concrete paving or concrete slab abuts the exterior face of the panel below the storefront assembly.
