A structural steel column is tied to adjacent concrete tilt-up wall panels using continuous 3x3x3/8-inch steel angles welded to a 3/8-inch by 14-inch by 1-foot 8-inch bent plate embedded in the concrete. The embedded bent plate is anchored with two 3/4-inch diameter by 6-inch headed stud anchors and two 1/2-inch diameter by 24-inch deformed bar anchors spaced at 48 inches on center. Fillet welds of 1/4-inch connect the steel angles to the embedded bent plate.
