A 4x6 nailer is trimmed to match the steel beam flange and roof slope, anchored by one-half-inch diameter by two-and-three-quarter-inch threaded studs with standard washers and nuts spaced at two feet on center and countersunk into the nailer. Three-by laminated timber decking and one-and-one-half-inch plywood sheathing bear over the sloped framing. A structural steel beam supports the assembly via a three-bolt connection referenced on sheet S6.01.
