The non-bearing slab edge features a thickened concrete edge bearing on compacted soil with two continuous number four reinforcing bars hooked into the thickened section. The depressed slab condition includes a stepped change in elevation with overlapping continuous reinforcing bars extending past the step location. Slab thickness, depression depth, and finish grade elevations are sized per plan and verified with the soils report.
