An angle brace spans between steel beams supporting a concrete over steel deck floor system. Each end of the angle brace connects to the steel beam web using a weld plate secured with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld applied on three sides. The brace provides lateral stability to the bottom flange of the framing members.
