An aluminum railing is connected to a concrete wall sized per plan using a three-quarter inch by one inch by one-foot-zero-inch aluminum plate secured with four one-inch diameter stainless steel headed anchor bolts. A one-quarter-inch fillet weld fastens the aluminum railing to the plate. The concrete wall is ten inches thick typically.
