Metal deck runs parallel to the face of concrete and bears against a structural steel ledger angle. The ledger angle is secured to the concrete with three-quarter-inch diameter expansion anchors at spaced intervals. A twenty-gauge minimum closure plate is provided at the edge alongside concrete dowels as required. Dimensions establish the anchor embedment depth and vertical placement relative to the deck.
