Cold-formed steel boxed studs are secured with number ten screws at twelve inches on center and anchored to an existing concrete slab using Simpson RCKW3 connectors with four number twelve sheet metal screws and half-inch diameter bolts with three-inch minimum embedment. Wall openings feature a header framed with a Simpson A35F connector fastened using number eight self-tapping screws and six number ten screws typically at each side. The track is fastened at each flange with number ten screws, and gypsum board is tied to the track.
