A structural steel collector connection detail shows the framing junction at an existing column and beam assembly. Existing metal deck is removed and shored as required for modifications, with patch back details submitted to the structural engineer of record for review. Existing fillet welds must be verified, inspected for defects, and surfaces prepared prior to welding increased fillet sizes as indicated.
