A roof beam connects to a vertical structural column at a working point intersection. A slope column cap plate sits atop the column to accommodate sloped framing members. A diagonal brace or member connects to the assembly using a gusset plate with bolted connections. Similar connection details apply to other sloped beams across the roof framing structure.
