A furring stud with a minimum flange width of 1 5/8 inches connects to an exterior or interior non-bearing steel stud. Steel stud bridging is tied into the assembly per the structural drawings at twenty-four inches on center. Number 10 sheet metal screws fasten the components at twenty-four inches on center. Architectural finishes apply to both sides of the wall assembly.
