The joist girder bears onto a 1-inch by 5 1/2-inch by 22-inch 50-ksi steel bearing plate, which is centered on the joist girder and welded to the wall embed. The assembly utilizes an A66-16 type embed plate cast into the tilt-up wall panel. The connection between the girder and the bearing plate is secured with a 1/4-inch fillet weld, 4 inches in length. Refer to panel elevations for top of concrete and design bearing elevation markers, and consult sheets 6/S301 and 1/S502 for additional structural information.
