A beam-to-beam connection utilizes a shear plate welded to the supporting member and bolted to the supported beam per plan. Erection bolts are provided by the contractor as required. Weld sizes and configurations are designated by tw1 and tw2 references with sizing per schedule. Dimensional clearances of three and one-half inches and three-quarters of an inch are maintained relative to the beam centerline.
