A concrete slab-on-grade rests directly upon a vapor barrier positioned over a compacted, prepared subgrade. The subgrade preparation and vapor barrier installation follow project specifications and the geotechnical engineering report. The reinforced concrete slab requires reinforcing per structural plans with a specified concrete clear cover.
