A six-inch concrete pour-in-place wall rests on a fourteen-inch deep concrete footing, reinforced with continuous number five rebars and number four horizontal and vertical bars at eighteen inches on center. The wall stem connects to a six-inch concrete slab reinforced with number three rebars at eighteen inches on center each way. A tube steel guardrail inserts into a pipe sleeve embedded in the top of the concrete wall, featuring a three-by-three by one-quarter-inch plate welded to the sleeve.
