An open web steel joist frames into a cold-formed metal stud wall with a continuous track at the top and bottom of the connection. Metal stud blocking is provided at the joist bearing location, with joist size and metal stud sizing determined per the structural plans and schedules. Four number eight screws fasten the connection components. A suspended ceiling and interior finishes are coordinated per the architectural drawings.
