An HSS10x4x3/16 hollow structural section column penetrates through a profiled metal deck. Continuous 3x3x3/16 steel angles flank both sides of the column web and bear on the top of the metal deck. Number 10 sheet metal screws fasten the horizontal leg of each angle to the metal deck at each flute typically.
