An intermediate landing is constructed with an HSS 152x152x8.0 structural tube welded to the side stringers, complete with a continuous L51x51x6.4 angle for deck support. A C310x31 channel serves as an edge member between the stringers and is welded to the HSS with a continuous deck support angle. C310x31 steel channels form the stair stringers, which receive fifty millimeter deep concrete-filled formed stair pans fabricated from 2.5mm steel plate. The stair pans are welded directly to the C310 side stringers, and a 1.91mm bent plate provides closure at the landing transition.
