This structural detail defines the slab edge condition at a supporting steel beam with a light gauge metal pour stop. The distance from the beam centerline to the slab edge is limited to a maximum of six inches unless an alternate detail is utilized. Stairs, miscellaneous steel, and other miscellaneous items are prohibited from being attached directly to pour stops. Undimensioned slab edges default to a six-inch offset from the beam centerline.
